Fuses
I was trying to fix my front passenger reading light when I made a stupid mistake my screwdriver touched the connection live and shorted all the inside overhead lights out. Im assuming I just replace the fuse, and I dont have my manuals or anything, and my parts identifier cd didnt come yet. Which fuse do I replace for the front and back lights to work again. Im out of town but wanna do this like now, because it feels so dumb to be in total darkness...lol I am new to the group but have been reading your posts before I just bought my 99 A8 4.2

Believe it or not, the wiring diagrams are very difficult to decipher as far as exactly which fuse..
location goes with which circuit. Your best bet is to remove the passenger side footwell cover and use a flashlight to check all of the fuses- the blown one should be easy to spot. Good luck! By the way, be careful with that screwdriver next time ;-)
