I parked next to a new 2003 BMW 745 Li
and I could not believe how small my '99 A8-D2 seemed to look. My '99A8 looked like an A4 next to it, but the figures below don't seem to substantiate my eyes. We were side by side in a parking gargage. That damn spoiler/tail on the BMW added significant height to the rear and that trunk area seemed huge which could be the reason it looked so bulky and large.

Not sure what my point is but if Audi AG is going to really compete in the US with their brethren they need to take away the obvious size factor to play with the big boys.
