After looking for hours at my car, and on the internet i am 99% positive that the wood on the Doors, dash, console, is one color and the Wood(or fake wood) on the door handle (window switches)is another. Complete BS. anyone else notice this.(if not and you do now SORRY)

I know the wood on the center console near the shifter is real. I sanded down and refinished it.

I can see it easily when I remove the ashtray cover. My door handles are brushed aluminum, or some other type of alloy.

Metal components are def real in both A8 and S8.

The door, dash and counsole wood is real wood...vineer cold molded over an aluminum piece then coated with plastic resin. The switch surrounds are not real wood and that is why they never match the wood exactly.

Thats what i thought, just wanted to make sure, kinda sucks

to yellow just a tiny bit, baking the wood look a slightly different color. The windows block something like 99% of UV, but time wins.
