Does anyone know if you can buy the small black plastic MMI **** for the 2001 S8 that sits in the center console and adjusts the Navi etc. ? Keyes Audi just quoted me $168 for the whole switch -- makes it an expensive **** replacement.

Also the plastic grommet on the visor itself that snaps in and out of the plastic retainer on the headliner i.e. the one used when the visor is unclipped to shield the side window has completely gone on both my visors. Does anyone know if this is an available part -- full visor is $318.50!

My visor plastic bushings have also fallen apart. Sadly my fix was to take a tie wrap and wrap it around the part a few times in place of the bushing, then zipping it. Not elegant but it does work.

I thought about putting on a piece of soft metal tubing. First cut lenghtwise and pried open then crimped on, perhaps with a crimper for BNC's. So far I am getting by with the ziptie.

Some plastic tubing and a dab of glue might work too, hmm...
