Oil eating machine

Oil eating machine
My 8 seems to be injesting oil at an alarming rate. I go through a quart in two to three days.
There are no visual signs of a leak, no puddles. I also ensure regular oil changes with ZIC A+ Fully synthetic oil and filter.
Any ideas?<ul><li><a href="http://www.skzic.com/eng/user/products/new_product_01_03.asp">http://www.skzic.com/eng/user/products/new_product_01_03.asp</a</li></ul>

Answer, please...
1. Have you emulsion (coolant with oil) in cooling system (rarely there is a problem in oil cooler - see PaulW pages)
2. Does anybody change oil valve stems - after 6-8 year it often dead (my oil stems almoust dead after winter)

Re: valve stem wear = oil smoke in exhaust
when it;s the stem it usually smokes on start up,when it;s the rings it's while running.
check it when cold have someone sart it and stay in the back might have a sign...
but it's not normal having to replace the seals on the valve stem after little mileage, somthing tells me that the oil pump is not functioning enough to send oil to the top.could be clogged,I wouldn't run in synthetic,I would use then 20w50,penzoil or something similar, because the synthetic is much to lean, great for winter but for summer days,I use 20w50 in summer holds up better for steaming heat, thicker and won't burn as much if you have that problem.
