Default oil oil everywhere!!!

i pulled out of my driveway today.. and i noticed a lot of oil/fluid spotting on the driveway that was underneath the car!!!!

i get on all fours and i notice that the entire underside of my car i covered with oil!!! it tracks all the way back to the mid-exhaust/converter area!!!

i've been smelling oil burning now for about 3wks but there was never any sign of spotting on the driveway, until today.... i've got to get some ramps to check the leak source....

any ideas?? this is starting to **** me off... i just recently paid $700 for an transmission flush and filter change.. and if this is gonna cost me some more i'm not gonna be happy.

arrrrggggg!!!!!!!!!

I did have same problem, not so much oil but anyway. Problem was in oilpressuresensor, it was leaking very much! I change it, cost about 7 euros (9 dollars about). So it was very cheap. It was cheap because i notice it at once...

Default Yes, the screw-in oil pressure sensor is a common leaker.

That was the second leak I had, after the forward prop shaft seal

Default If they charge more than an hour labor, something is wrong.

And it's a $9 part.

Yeah its easy to repair, as long as you have a short 24 mm craftsman socket, pull out the entire air obx to get at it, anyone else have a dif way to do it, and did you need a special tool, as i could only put the socket on, just enough to bite, due to the electrical connector. No more mysterious oil leaks!!!!!!

Default That's the way to do it.

I think I popped it loose with a big adjustable wrench.
