Rear Passenger window trouble (A8 D2 1998)
Hi all! Can anyone help me trouble-shoot a problem with my rear passenger window? It does operate (up/down), however it will not go up completely! It leaves a 1/4" inch space at the top. What's up with that? Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

one of the guys I know has a '98 and had the exact same problem w/ front window
turns out to be a bad window regulator. I was able to shimmy it up to (grab each side of the window, will take some force) to almost closed so it was watertight until he got it fixed.
I think the regulator was around $200+ $150 labor. I would have fixed it for him but didn't want to get the door apart and find out it was something else. I'm sure it's the same with yours based on the description.
