Bumped my rear bumper cover a few weeks back in frigid cold and the corner broke like glass. Found a new (aftermarket?)cover for an S8 on e-bay. Says it fits 01-03 S8

Will it fit my 2000 A8?

should be fine.

The only two parts catalogued there, are bumpers for cars with and without parking assist.

I can't imagine why they wouldn't call it "A8 / S8" in their auction. If it works on one, it should work on the other.

Unless I am very mistaken the opening for the exhaust is on the wrong side- at least for the S8!!!

Well I went ahead and ordered it, along with some lovely beauty and feminine hygiene products - all from the same vendor.

I'll let you know about how the bumper fits and if my hair regains its healthy lustre.
