Default S8 Service - Loaner Car Experience

I picked up a 2001 S8 a couple of months ago and am bringing it in tommorrow for a couple of small rattles. The car has 6K on it and when I called two local audi dealers in Western Michigan and asked about Loaner cars neither said they offered. When I protested that this was an S8 they didn't budge. Anyway I called Audi Cust Rel and they called the dealer and handled and I am getting a loaner.

Has anyone had a similar experience, I thought Loaners where standard with an A8 or S8?

Default I have a 97 A8 and I get a loaner

for day long repairs, I got a POS enterprise rental car, when I had my rocker panel repaired, had a 2002 Allroad for 4 days.

I think they just know I post to Audiworld a lot! ;-)

Default It's up to the individual dealorship and the competition.

in the given market place. In North Atlanta most high end dealorships have a loaner program and thus I get a loaner.

What the market will bare is the law of the land.

I think the original owner gets a guaranteed mobility warranty (at least on mine). I don't think it transfers on a used car.

My local dealer gets me a loaner whenever I'm in for day-long repairs. It's always an Audi. I've got a '97 A8 that I didn't buy from them. It's my third Audi -- none of which I purchased from the dealer. I used to get loaners with my 100 as well. I usually ask when I schedule the appointment so if one will not be available, I reschedule for when one is. They've even promised a TT convertible for a future loaner because of some past problems.

My dealer keeps at least 2 A6 2.7T's as loaners for S8 owners. Otherwise it's Enterprise rental.

Default I always get a loaner with my little old 99 1.8t A4...

Audi Store in Plano always treats me right. I think it just depends on your dealer.
