Default A8 customer loaner policy

Can someone please explain it to me?

Is a dealer required to provide a loaner car to A8 customers even if the car wasn't purchased at their respective dealership?

Default Nope! Even if you purchased the car from a particular dealer,

while they may try to accommodate you, there is NO requirement. Thats the law!! LOL

Default Re: A8 customer loaner policy

My service rep in bay area, California told me that all A8 being serviced had to be provided with an Audi loaner. Don't know if it's just this dealer or Audi policy.

I'm going to bring this up with my salesman, because when I took it in for the 5000 mile service I was given a Camry and when I asked about this policy they said they have NO Audi loaners any more.

Default More and more dealers are switching to using a "rent a car" agency...

...it does away with all the liability issues, and removes them from that loop. One of the servicing dealers I use has an Enterprise office right on their property.

Default Pacific Audi policy...

They have a Enterprise rental agent in the showroom, but for A8 customers their policy is to use an A6 or better. Most of the time I get an older demo S8, which is a blast to drive!
