Seen Höen "Xenonmatch" bulbs? Amazing!
Just installed Höen Xenonmatch bulbs in the Boxster, after strong recommandations from a friend. The result is better than I hoped for, they really have the color of good Xenons!
Now the A8 is next in line, it will get Höen Titanium high beams and parking lights to match the Xenons.

Will do, but it will take a while. Need new Xenon bulbs (more)
Wants to replace them all while I am at it. Do you know any good sources for Xenon bulbs?
BTW. I placed the Boxster next to the A8, both with lights on. It was impossible to tell any difference in low beam color!

most likely, the Phillips Plus would be the best choice here...
there is a cool site that has much info. link below. as to where to get some cheap replacements, not sure on your side of the pond.... but I got mine from this guy:

one of his current auctions on ebay:

I have purchased several items from him without a hitch.
hope that helps.<ul><li><a href="http://faq.auto.light.tripod.com/hl-hid-bulbs.htm">HID info</a></li></ul>

how do you know if you need to upgrade the wiring harness to handle 80 watts of power for the highs
I am always in need of more light living in an area where the nearest street light is 60 miles away. Replacing the highs with higher watage bulb could be an easy fix if it does not do damage. How can you tell if it is safe to step up to high watage?

Wiring should be OK for 80 watts. ...
Double check the fuses for the hi beams, but I assume that they're 10 amp, and this is the safe max the wiring can handle. The current draw is watts divided by voltage, 80/14, or 6 amps.
In my previous two cars, I replaced my headlights with 80/100 H4's. Low beam was 80 watt, high beam was 100 watt (7 amp draw) and never had a problem or blew a fuse. Well ... I did have one problem. A caterpillar once made it's cocoon sitting on top of the exposed portion of the H4's terminals. The first time it rained and I turned on the lights, the fuse blew frying the caterpiller.

Ebay was a good tip, I just got these off of ebay.de
<a href="http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=28643&item=2477016 351"> Xenons on Ebay </a>
Price 58 Euro for two, supposedly brand new Philips 85122.
The guy has hundreds of positive feedbacks, so it is probably no scam. But it could of course be cheap fakes. Any way to tell?
