Slight lag below 3K rpm in tip mode
Does anyone else notice a slight lag in power below 3K rpm? If I apply steady throttle the acceleration is really mild until it hits 3K rpm and then it pulls really strong all the way to redline. Is there any way to correct this? I did recently recode my tranny to sport mode but this characteristic is still there.

a while back someone posted about an apparent 21/2 gear feel.....
I have a little of the same - but it seems to be only with light to medium pressure on the gas, If I "get on it" - it pulls rather well up through the gears, I typically get that hesitation, when going around a corner after a downshift to 2nd, then do a soft acceleration - slight lag, but catches up as you describe at about 3K, big difference though from pre recode....

You described it exactly! I just went out and watched the rpm's and it has a slight hesitation at 2400 rpm, drops to 2200 rpm and then takes off.
