Re: Eibach 1" (25mm) lower springs available in europe
spoke with Eibach and got a little attitude after I explain the they are available in Europe. "Well it is a differnt car over there" narrowed that down to spec they are looking at are differnet. Claims the US springs are still in development, I asked about getting specs and they are going to "try and get them". We will see if they come or not.

Well, it seems that you didn't have aluminum suspension parts on the old model either, so there seems to be differences. Wonder why.
That would explain why you haven't been bothered a lot with the noisy front suspension like we have (it is an bushing in aluminium matter), and why you find the new model a lot more fun to drive. The difference in driving between the old and new model over here is very small, if any.
I am having a hard time understanding why you couldn't use an "euro-spec" spring anyhow. Different struts?

Kjell A

Re: Eibach 1" (25mm) lower springs available in europe
I know there are some aluminium suspension parts not sure of the specific ones responcible for the noise. (I do have a little noise, sway bar?). The spring question was mine to Eiback as well how much would the euro suspension cost and why can't I use it. The reply "they are different cars" I'm not sure the guy I spoke with had it all going on. Hopefully I will get the specs for the springs from him.

Re: 20INCH RIMS DON'T LOOK TOO GOOD, NEEDS LOWERING
I'VE JUST PUT 20INCH RIMS WITH A 245/35 TYRES ON MY A8 THERES TOO MUCH SPACE BETWEEN THE ARCH AND THE TYRE ESPECIALLY THE FRONT. I WANT TO LOWER IT BUT I DONT WANT THE WHEELS RUBBING, ALSO IF I LOWER IT WILL THE INSIDE OF TYES AT THE REAR START WEARING OUT.
