Sunroof Gear and Rails Don't Catch Fixed
Hi guys,
I don't have an A8 any more, but today my A6 the sunroof doesn't close, only move in and out a little, although the motor was running, I though the rails broke but it was an easy fix. BTW, the manual key hole was stripped by the last owner. I believe most Audi sunroofs designed the same way, if you have the same problem, before replacing anything, try this first. I'm sure the shops and dealers will not fix it for you, just replace everything.
