Default That's a new one.

I don't remember ever seeing it. Neither here, nor in C5 A6.

Default Gentlemen....does the A8 has a separate housing for the front diff? I thouhgt it was..

incorporated in the same housing as the transmission? I do have a problem currently where my driver's side front axle is loose at the transmission housing end. Is there any way to fix it without having to replace the whole box?

Default The inboard CV joints on the front half shafts attach to the transmission with 6 large Torx bolts

each.

If yours is loose, GET THAT FIXED IMMEDIATELY!

If not sooner.
