Default We all owe Ninjamonkey a big thanks! Steering Rack Replacement Procedure Done!

Ninjamonkey (what kind of user name is that anyway? Greenie will chime in I'm sure...) put together a great steering rack replacement procedure with a lot of great pictures.....it's funny reading too.

Skiracer, want to provide any editorial comments? Just email me and we'll incorporate them.

As you can see, the format is slightly different than the standard audipages format because he did all the HTML! Wow! Did I say Wow! Awesome! I just dragged and dropped a few things into the website.

<a href="http://www.audipages.com/Tech_Articles/susp_whls_brake_steer/srack.html" target="_blank">Check it out</a>....it is awesome.

Default Nice job on masking (photoshop) the pertinent parts in red!

Makes it easier to understand, for those of us who don't know what a servotronic module looks like.

Default Only because I love you guys... so... much *weep*

Seriously, though, this forum is great. I'm happy I can contribute.

Psst. Hey, wanna see something gory?

This was the gutted boot of my dead rack... what IS that brown, cancerous sludge anyway?

After both Allen bolts frustratingly stripped smooth on both Metric and SAE keys and after reading the debate about its negligible effects in past threads, I was SO tempted to just cut the wire and pull the relay switch.

Didn't someone mention testing the Servotronic turned off at Mid-Ohio?
