WTB - '01 S8
I'm going to place a deposit on the forthcoming 2001 S8. Is there any awareness on the standard equipment status and or options? If history repeats itself, the S8 will be a full boat trim level here in the US.
Are any sales person's/dealers listening who want my business?
I'm ready to place a order. Silver w/black.

Thank you for your reply. I'm offering 3.5K profit on a S8 order. The Audi A8 series has not exactly flown off of any shelves. I believe that the S8 trim level will be the same. Yes, Audi is enjoying record sales levels for its product range, and BMW, MB too, however the A8 series continues to lag in these trends.
The S8 trim level is also being offered to America on the eve of a NEW Audi A8, a NEW BMW 7 series and the rollout of the AMG version MB S Class.
The competition is real and its my bet the market will continue to speak, has it has, with the Audi A8 series, S trim level or not.

Mike...I would think your order is about $500 - 700 off MSRP
The usual difference between invoice and MSRP has been about $4,000 to $4,200, IMHO.
Good luck.
Will you travel to pick the car up...or have it shipped by covered "insured" carrier?<p><a href="http://registry.audiworld.com/audi/registry/details.asp?car=3821"><br><br>

Re: Mike...I would think your order is about $500 - 700 off MSRP
Steve ... The '00 A8 L has eight thousand in profit before any options. Mind you, not many if any, have been sold at MSRP. Oh yeah, theres the sale here or there at list, however this Audi model is slow to catch on with the buyer at this level. MB, BMW and Lexus eats the A8's lunch in this field.
The Audi A8 has all kinds of incentives in its marketing program.
Great car ...!!! competitive playing field = low margins at the selling table for the Audi dealer.
$3500.00 to take my order is respectable profit. Yes, Id travel to pick up the car. I bought a '98 911 in Florida ... great drive home to Denver. Picked the car up with 29 miles and two days later, home in Denver with 2000
