Default don't think that can happen with a bmw....

gas pedal is hinged at the floor. you can't budge a floormat underneath it.

at least from my experience with 07 and 08s.

btw, your A8 still looks great.

Default I traded my A8 in for a Nissan Sentra ( Type R )....

Just kidding. We all know once you drive an A8, you must either buy another similar or higher class of cars. The dealer can not find the problem. The car is running fine now. The more I read and think about it, it was probaly the floormats and especially how mine was set up.

Thanks guys for all your input. I now drive with NO floor mats and is now fully aware to shut the car off immediately next time it happens.
