Default 04 Audi A8 air suspension

New problem with my A8. I came out this AM, -5 degrees outside. The front end had settled completely. I started it up. Yellow and green suspension lights on the dash were displayed. After about 2-3 minutes the air bags in the front were reinflated and the car was level. Indicator lights went off. I turned it off and let is set for 30 minutes and it resettled. This has never happened before. Thoughts? Need new front shocks? Anyones help is greatly appreciated. Stealer 200 miles away. THanks J

Changed setting for suspension from automatic to standard and so far no settling. Any thoughts?

See what happens when it gets a little bit warmer. Maybe a stuck check valve in the air suspension distribution manifold. It could be stuck due to some moisture getting into the air lines. WABCO, the maker of the electric air compressor also makes air dryers. Unfortunately, there is none installed on the A8's.

Probably a stuck valve - I've had it happen a couple times on my '04 as well. I had the rear end completely aired down once for a 45 minute ride.. that was rough.

Can the valve be replaced? or do you have to replace the entire manifold? It now does it using the standard setting for the suspension as well, but only when below 0.

Any chance you can take it inside a heated garage? If so, let it warm up for several hours and then cycle different heights (low to lift mode) several times. If there's water in the system, maybe this will blow it into the airsprings(shocks) and cure your problem.
