2007 A8 SWB pulsing/clicking
Hello, I'm trying to diagnose a pulsation in my 2007 A8 SWB with 140K which occurs when there is no throttle being applied at 35mph to highway speeds. Also, at slow speeds I'm hearing a clicking sound in the front end. I know this is vague information but i"m hoping someone out there may have experienced something similar. Front upper control arms and alignment were done a thousand miles ago. What are the symptoms of a failing driveshaft? Thanks for your time.

Have you checked your air ride compressor? When mine is being over worked (at it kicks in around 35mph and works harder the faster I go. I can feel it in the seat as well. If you have a vcds, you can perform a level calibration and that seemed to help my compressor and car run much better at higher speeds. Just a thought.
