one more question, it gave me break pad symbol when I scan first.
But when I drove it the symbol on dashboard is gone.
How do I know if I need break pads and rotors. Sometime back I think some one told I need breaks done. But wondering if there is easy way from to check what I need pads (front/rear) rotor(front/rear)

Pull the right front wheel off and look and see how much pad is left. Did you get your suspension problem fully resolved? If it were me I would change the O-Rings on the shock to see if I could fix it

Yes thanks for asking.
I also replaced my breaks and rotors both front and back.
I found a leak in from valve cover and replaced gasket
Hope that is all for now

Or submerge it

Now I tried to inflate little by little and I see the strut takes pressure and boot inflate and immediately I feel the air leaving from the bottom of the boot. Looks like my strut is bad, I am going to order one fit it and let you guys know how it goes.
Thanks for all of you for kind help.
I would think that much of a leak would be easily found while on the car by spraying soapy water on it

Just thought I'd chime in on a recent experience with my 2006 A8 suspension. I didn't have a good setup to put pressure into the shocks I had removed from the car. The front was down to the bump stops on both sides. I removed both shocks and just tried to hold air pressure to it but no luck detecting the culprit. Both seemed to hold air and could not be compressed with my body weight. The shocks stayed on the floor for a few weeks before I tried again. When I later tried, one shock was still solid and full of air, and one side was easy to compress, so that looks like the trouble side. I've replaced the air canister, but yet to pressure it up as time ran out. I'll update later.

This post shows a way to do that with pics halfway down the page.

you have to remove the air inlet regulator to be able to pump it up and compress it off the car.
