Thanks storka; this is very helpful. I'll give a try. I had removed the trunk floor trim (not the side trim). This is left trim just behind left passenger seat, correct?

Yes I think you have to remove the left trim in the trunk ( drivers side USA ). If not there remove the rear trim.

Oh, yeah, left side of the trunk behind the panel, about a 10 minute job to get to it. Sorry I'm late to the conversation. Had to get to mine when wiring up the input from my phone to run movies.

I just put the taped them on the rear screen at the top.
Works well.

Is this a remove and replace installation?
Can I do it myself?
Do you know the part number? Mine is a 2008 S8
