Default For the first time in a year, I've just spent two working days in an office - and have to go back!

I got a new client and will be working in their offices 2 days a week or so. I sure don't miss dealing with the dip-**** commuters every morning and afternoon - everybody should work from home like me!

Oh well, I guess it'll be steady income for the forseeable future and I can't complain about that.

Default Re: join the club...

been doing this commuting thing for 6 years now and there's no end in sight. I live in Arvada and drive to the DTC - to say T-rex has not always been fun would be an understatement. I wish there would be a way that I could work from home....

Default "work from home" = "unemployment" :-)

But then again, if you willingly quit your job to work at home, I guess I'm not really unemployeed.

Default income is good, but yeah driving sucks. It took me twice as long to get to work today b/c of traffic

congrats on the job, and I really need to get those pics now as my car is gone.

Default There's always "underemployed" or "discouraged"

it's the same as being unemployed - you just don't get counted in the labor statistics

Default No kidding. I am in the Bay area today. Took me almost 45 minutes

to go from Redwood City up to Burlingame this afternoon on 101 (only about 10 miles apart for those who don't know the area). Ouch.

And even this isn't as bad as when I would come out here in 2000 & 2001.

I was sitting in that traffic thinking about your earlier post with a link to a CA traffic site and wishing I had checked that.
