Help with crank ventilation
Where can i purchase a new one. I opened mines up because it squealed to hi heaven. It was gunky and the flap was torn completely. I purchased one from autozone and it still squealed. Any options?

Return the one from Autozone and order an OEM one. Alternatively, if your old one is still around and the body is alright, you can buy another diaphragm, do a search, I know it's been covered.

My autozone part was ok
Thanks for your speedy input, i removed the intake assembly and upon opening the crankcase air accumulator valley pan i noticed a seal gap. This is why i noticed a squeal rather than a goose honking. I resealed all my intake connections from that point forward and it ran fine.

2015 A8 4.0T Squealing - Help!
My 2015 Audi A8L 4.0T started making a terrible squealing noise. The dealership said the crankcase breather valve needed to be replaced and they quoted me $2,000. I’m looked online and the video I see of this exact issue are corrected with a simple diaphragm replacement. What am I missing? Also, is the vehicle drivable if I want to take it somewhere for another diagnosis?

Pretty sure that dealer is trying to rip you off, go someplace else. This section is for the 2004-2010 A8's, but even for yours, I think they may offer a diaphragm replacement aftermarket. Otherwise, the factory breather cost a few hundred dollars and can be replaced by most mechanics. I don't think the 4.0t has enough complication to the job to justify that kind of cost for the repair.
