Driver's seat 'automatic' relocation
In our '07 A8, my wife and I have two different locations for the driver's seat. When opening the car door, with our specific 'key', the seat moves to our location correctly. BUT -
My location is probably a little behind the center position, and the seat first moves ALL THE WAY TO THE FRONT, then starts moving back.
Hers is somewhat ahead of the center position, and her seat moves ALL THE WAY BACK, then toward the front.
IS there any way to get the program so it only moves the small (1-2") difference between the fore and aft settings? When the seat is moving to 'my' location, I can not enter the car, as the seat is all the way to the front, so I wait until the movement is complete before getting in. A pain in the 'neck, or some other part of the anatomy' in my opinion!
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

PS: My SL55 Benz, and my 928 GTS Porsche both just move the small distance.
