Mmmm... new ceramic brakes from Audi
<img src="http://www.fourtitude.com/news/uploads/Audi_News/ceramic.jpg">
I wonder how these babies compare to the stock brakes (ie, stopping distances, track behavior)?
Although they would be an expensive upgrade, they would be good for those who track their car or those who want the added margin of safety.
Now if you really want to see some serious brakes, check out these babies on the R8.

Not sure about the ceramic brakes technology as it stands currently
Am thinking about ordering a Porsche 997 Carrera S and even though the car will see LOTS of action on track, I am still really on the fence about the PCCB option...especially when its cost is over $8,000!

Great, just when our car is in final assembly....
Our car is in final assembly. I would have ordered both the composite brakes and the B&O. Guess I'll have to reorder for next year if they put more bhp in too.
Ferrari composite brakes are great. New gen II PCCB are supposed to be better.
I have an F-car on way with composite brakes, wouldn't get it any other way.

The Gen II PCCB is supposed to be much improved but I still have major reservations with them...
From personal experience they are not the amazing cure all solution to brakes. In fact I've found them to be worse not to mention the cost of replacement when they wear out (and they will). I doubt we'll see these in NA due to the maintenance program. AoA would not take the chance in paying out for these.
