Motorized rear blind

Here they are:
All aluminum and, compared to original, indestructible. It takes about 30 minutes to change them, but it is back there in quite confined space. Tools needed: small cordless drill, 1/8" drill bit, small Philips screw driver, pop rivet tool, assistant to press the button, bring bear and wipe sweat from your forehead and some patience.

New blind is $600. Parts are not available. In order to replace it they have to remove rear seat, a bunch of pillar covers and all trunk liners. That could be easily 6-8 hours, so it is close to $1500. Take some money from them and wait. I am in a process of manufacturing those small parts that breaks. It will be aluminum instead of plastic. Wont brake again. It will be easy to attach them. They will be way way cheaper than replacing blind and you won't risk another "handy" attack to your car. You wouldn't be only one waiting and it won't be long. Promise.

I actually spoke with Mishar awhile back and, with his blessing after reaching out to him, did a run of these "clips" for the rear window shade. I make custom aluminum parts for vehicles in the Land Rover world, so figured that this would be easy enough to tackle for any folks here in need. Anyhow, I *hope* to be done with them at the end of this week coming up...had to work it into some of the other projects I was finishing up to make it worth while. I'll keep everyone posted.
