Paging MP4.2+6.0 swaybar question inside
Would you say your swaybar mod makes enough difference to do it again if you get another car with the standard bars?
Asking since I have the opportunity to get a used S8 front bar for cheap. From your post it looks like a breeze to replace it but if it doesn't make any noticeable difference I might as well skip.

Yes I would
Front bar is easy. Rear do-able but harder.
If you read my post before, remember I went from a "sport" bar (used on W12's, albeit w/ non sport air shocks) to an S8 bar. Difference is modest but yes it tightens it up. From having done this on my A6 that had the base (non sport) bar, I think it would be much more obvious if I had gone up two steps rather than one.
If you are in Europe, don't know if you have air suspension or not. Mine does. The air suspension really smoothes everything out, so the bar change is only really felt in tightening the car up some in cornering. With a steel suspension, it will also be equivalent to stiffening the springs a bit. That is my A6 experience where I do have a conventional steel spring suspension.

Although the downside to air suspension is its cushioning effect at low speeds. Not very effective. Still a very smooth car and great ride but this is true amongst every air suspension car I've drove.
