Hello all ye A8 owners!

I am posting for my dad who has a 2004 A8L himself and he has run into a problem. Recently his cell phone was stolen and when he talked to the dealer, he found they do not sell it anymore. So, I ask you, do you know where he might find a Motorola V60 Verizon phone? He found one on Ebay recently but was outbid at the last second. DOH! Any help is appreciated.

Default I have an Audi V60 available. But, you may want to check with Verizon to see if they'll activate it

Verizon told me that they'll no longer activate v60's because they're not E-911 compliant.

I got mine at my local BMW dealer's parts counter. You need to be sure he has the most recent (i.e. part number ending in "B") cradle in his car or it won't power up. You'll have to get that cradle at the Audi dealership if he doesn't already have it.

See my thread at Audiforums.com here:

I got the cradle from autopartsnationwide.com and the puck from morristownbmw.com. Both work great.
