Indeed I was saying not too bother with the trickle charger if its going to be difficult to do, if you can then by all means do so.
If you go down the route of leaving it then, its important that you check the lock barrel can open the boot lid, as you have said you don't have one tells me like most of us the lock barrel rarely gets thought about and may be seized.
If in the event you have a flat battery and then find out the lock does not work you're in a world of pain, so give it a try and lube it up.

For a month I would just make sure it's dry, then parked up in the dry, with dry brakes, Tyres at the correct pressure too. If I was worried about the battery dieing (a healthy one won't), then I'd leave it unlocked and hook up a battery conditioner via the cigarette lighter.
I do nothing more with my TVR and that gets left for 3-4 months, sometimes longer with no ill effects. At that is a much more fragile vehicle.
