I'm in the market for a 2005 A8 SWB. Found the perfect one, except for one problem - the VIN is a mere 200 less than the 10650 I've been looking for (in order to have Bluetooth instead of OnStar). However, the price is great, it has every other option I want, and it is certified.

So, my question is: how much work and money are involved in retrofitting the OEM Bluetooth system a car with a VIN number 200 higher than this one would have? I checked out Kufatec.de, and I see there are quite a few different OEM "kits"

What are the differences? Which one would I need? How much work is involved in installing one? Would I have the same (or more) functionality as if I bought a later-2005 A8?

There shouldn't be that many wires connected.

A close up picture of the connector would be ideal showing the pinouts.

A few of us here have the BT boxes, but would be nice to check the pinouts with the actual oem harness.

Ok... so, can you differentiate the versions Kufatec sells, and specify which one you are selling?
