Default Since we are discussing "little factoids" ...

have you noticed that the auto dimmimg feature on the rear view and door mirrors does not function when the background lighting feature is set to "city"? It works on the highway setting.

Default How about this one...

Coded the Instrument cluster to UK settings and now the front door sensors are backwards...Open the drivers door when running and it shows in the cluster as the pass. door open and vice versa. At least the annoying chime is gone.

Default Also keep in mind that the MPG calc will now be wrong.

By coding to UK it will use the imperial Gallon not the US gallon for that cal. The rear doors show correctly inthe console, so it's intresting that the frount doors are wrongly indicated.

However as I said in my post little items like these were not a concern to me. The chime just had to go. As the US does not use the metric system there were not a lot of country code options to chose from.

Hope you found my post on doing this usefull. Did you change the seat belt as well?

Default Here are all the changes I've made so far....

Suspension - 20mm lower in front 10mm in rear
Instrument Cluster - Set to Great Britain to remove door chime. Turned off all seat belt warnings.
Comfort Module - Added Comfort Control to Key FOB and selected Sunroof and Windows to open and close with remote and Drivers door switch
Electric Controller: Set to RoW - Allows fog lamps on without headlamps (helps immensely in heavy fog and snow). However this also alters the high beam as well. With lights on, using flash to pass also activates the xenon shutter. With high beams on halogen lights also come on steady.
