Does anyone's sunroof close extremely slowly? Mine seems to struggle, especially, last 4 inches or so. Hear a little squeaking but nothing major. Inspected rails/tracks...no cracks and seem to be pretty well lubricated. But maybe I should clean and lube again. what should I use?

There is a special lubricating paste that Audi uses on some of the TSB's and campaigns. G-060-751-A2 $26.25 In stock. It comes in a 160 gram tube that requires a caulking gun.

Mine is doing the same thing. It has always slowed down the last few inches while it closes. But, lately it's markedly slower.

I'm going to do the recommended service on it this weekend. It definitely behaves like it wants to get cleaned & lubed. I'll review the Bentley manual for any TSB related sage advice I might be able to apply at the same time.

If that doesn't improve things, I'll dig a little deeper. Nothing seems to actually be "broken" though.

Mine doesn't go slower than normal but I did notice it starting to squeak as soon as it turned to be summer. So today I cleaned off the tracks with a paper towel and sprayed some wd-40 on it and presto, no squeak and still working smoothly.

I had a bunch of parts replaced 2x on the sunroof. Maybe clips + other parts. Now it only closes maybe 50% of the time on its own. I have to open again and try closing again, but the first time i had problems I had that same crunching noise.
