We live right by stone ally (freeway to the Sierra's) and the roads are sanded and crushed rock grit spread on the freeway during the winter months but the sand grit is there year round..

Windshields, mirrors and the front end gets pitted big time !

It sounded high to me as well but after some research, in the ball park in my area. I think you can get that in that price range but not self healing type of film. I mostly drive on the freeways now so It's a consideration for me. I also have new paint on my front end so it makes sense to do it now rather than later, but I;m still on the fence.

After reading more posts and other forums ,apparently I'm way out of touch !
I'm reading where people are paying up to $1400 for the Expel WOW !!

I bought the A5 used with 21K on the OD and it already has pits in the paint , lights and windshield.

DIY kits cost upwards of $700 plus ...
