Thank you,
The sizes are on page 3, you actually only need the center spring, use a 1/2 drip hose cut out as the holder and you're good to go.

Cheers,

Louis

Louis --- Do you know where I might be able to buy this exact spring ? I saw the spring measurements you gave but they had nothing like that at my local hardware store -- let me know.
Thanks
John

Default I may have a set left from the batch I bought last time

Hello John,
I may have a set left, if you're in the bay area, drop by my work I'll give you the set, but if I have to mail it, it's more work for me (I don't go to post offices). The springs are specialty springs for fixture companies, I don't think you can find them really. Email me your address and when I have time, I'll mail you 1.

Cheers,

Louis

Louis,
By chance if you have any more springs-I could use that fix for sure as my driver side also needs the "Louis Assist Idea". I could pm my address and mail a check for your daughters college fund and future car purchase fund! thanks much, Dan

Quick update- Sunday trip to Lowes Hardware dept. Closest springs they had in stock were 11/16"x3"x.062",what the heck give it a shot. Cut the spring in 1/2 and removed the black plastic stop cover. The spring nicely wound around the bolt and the part the bolt screws into.Fingers crossed-closed the lid.Drum roll please........ it worked! now-repeated numerous times seems to work great as a fix[B] Thanks Mr Louis-you will be written in the books with Ben Franklin.! Dan
