Yesterday I went to the dealership to see my new car. I am 4 weeks from taking possession on a 2006 A8L. I was taken to the lot where all the new cars that just came in are stored. My car was nowhere to be found. Then the sales person informed me that there is some type of recall on the new A8's and if it was not taken care of at the port, it would be fixed in the service department. She claimed it was some kind of sensor that had to be replaced.
We proceeded to the service department and there it was. A beautiful night blue pearl effect exterior and the great looking amaretto interior with the alcantara package. The car looks great. I took the manual with me to get a head start learning the MMI. I can't wait to pick it up on the 20th of December.
