Default Yokohama ADVAN S.4. 255/40R19 All Season Tires

Anyone out there with experience with Yokohama ADVAN S.4. 255/40R19 All Season tires?

They command a good quiet rating at Tire Rack.

I run Pirelli Winter 240 Sottozero during the cold six months of the year, but don't want performance summer tires for the summer season. I have been caught with summer rubber in ice and snow once too often.

Any other suggestions for a All Season tire?

You'll love them, I've got 'em! Hard to find though these days, I hear! Use TireRack!

I have em - Love em!
I looked for quiet too and these fit the bill.
Now if they just wear long enough...
Jury still out on that.

Default Those are very good tires, I would also suggest the Pilot Sport A/S's

The price delta is about $55 a corner. You should eek more life out of the Pilot Sports as the tread depth rating is 500 versus the Yoko's 400. 400 is still awesome, but suposedly with a 500 rated tread depth you're good to go for 40-45k miles.

I take it you're in Canada if you run snows 6 mos out of the year and still get caught in snow storms? (Either that or western US high elevations)

I have the 18's on my D2 and really like them. I don't run winter tires and they have been great.

Default Thanks for the information

Northwestern Ontario is primary home turf in the summer half of the year, Southeastern Utah in the winter half.

My 05' came with (blah) 5 spoke 18"s, I bought a set of used Blizzaks and put those on for the winter.

Picked up used 19" turbines, put new S.drive's from the Tirerack on them, now I just swap em' when the seasons change.

If you do snow, blizzies are the best. The S.drives are pretty sweet rest of the time.
