put my order in for a 2014 S8 today. was told it should be arriving in August.

What was the base price? I am curious how much they raised it over the 2013 price.

I was just informed today that my 2013 S8 order I placed last month will be a 2014. I was also told that they have no idea what the delivery date will be or what the price structure will be. They just said they would offer the same amount over invoice on the 2014 that they promised on the 2013.

Where did you get the information on the delivery date ? Did they give you a price ?

They told me pricing wouldn't change much and they would honor 2013 pricing. Pricing isn't out yet. He said they would start building them in June.

Was just given a June 20th production date with a July 20th delivery to Texas on our 2014 S8 on order. Ordered in March. Still no pricing yet.......

I had a march 16 production start and took delivery of my S8 on May 16 in Maryland.
Once it was released from port it was at the dealership 24 hours later
Production and QC in Getmany take a bit longer than you would think
My car also had a priority processing at the port, which took 3 days..things like media package and front plates are out in by the port here in USA

I ordered my S8 last December, but my dealer ended up not having a 2013 allocation slot for it so I got in their first allocation for a 2014. They just informed me that they have a production date for it and I should take delivery around July 15th. In hindsight, I'm glad I didn't get the 2013 late in the model year.
