We have the high beam assist on the A8 as well, on my 13 I do have it and it works very well, my old car (2009) mentioned something about automatic high beam assist in the manual but never got around to learn how to use it or if I actually had it in the 4 years that i had it.

Is it me, or do the new rear lights in this new video look rather nice in the dark ?

The new headlights also remind me of baguette cut diamonds every time I see them.... incredible.

I can see my wife doing that (maybe not with the wink to the other driver). It'll help me justify the extra expense.

In Germany the matrix beam option is 2400 euros vs the old style LED pack which is 1600euros. Their funky configurator is up and running if anyone can fully decipher it, although some of the numbers there are confusing - I'm assuming the data hasn't been checked yet as boot size and fuel tank sizes say they are smaller (490 litres boot and 82 litres for fuel instead of 520/90).

If the Germany configurator is already up for the new vehicle (apparently being referred to as a 2015 in the USA) then I am hopeful that the projections are correct that this new vehicle will arrive in USA dealers in early 2014.

Can anyone confirm this?

Look good. I question the video as it seems more CGI then real life. Just the the way the lights are lighting up the road from above view doesn't look real.
