anyone try vredestein hypertracs?
Looking to replace my 15 A8 tdi awful pirelli p zeros in the oddball 265/40/20 size. Decided to go with 275/40/20 tires mainly for some extra comfort on long drives. I dont track my long wheel base sedan so my main concerns are ride comfort and noise. Top 3 contenders are pilot sport as4s, dws06 plus and hypertracs. Tirerack seems to have some rave reviews on the ride quality and noise on these vredesteins so im debating on whether to gamble it and try them out or go for the tried and true name brands. Basically looking for the most comfortable tire that can handle florida rain.
Has anyone had any experience with these tires on their a8?

No experience with the Hypertrac in particular, but my bro has the Quatrac Pro (Grand-Touring) and highly recommends them.
I have the Wintrac Pro and also recommend.
So if the Hypertrac is anything like those two I'd say it is a winner.
Bear in mind if buying from TireRack it looks like they are still selling the old compound.
"Beginning in the 27th week of 2021, Vredestein updated the compound of the Hypertrac All Season in an effort to improve traction in the wet and snow. Though the benefits of the revised compound are best realized by installing a complete set of four tires on a vehicle, Vredestein has indicated tires with the new compound are mixable in any quantity with tires featuring the original compound.Any Hypertrac All Season tire with a DOT TIN manufacture date of 2721 or later features the updated compound. For easy identification, the Original and Revised compound tires are identified with a clarifier on the Specs page and in the search results."

ah shoot I completely missed that they are the old compound. Was wondering why it seemed like such a good deal already on close out. I already went ahead and decided to go with the order since tire rack rated them #1 in the category but it looks like it may have been the newer compound that’s rated that high. Not sure how the older compound stacks up. Oh well, they seem to offer a 100 day trial so if they are bad I will probably swap them out for the dws06+ But considering how noisy and bad these stock pirellis are, I think any tire would be an improvement.
Also kinda makes your original post a bit rhetorical if you don't wait/check for any replies before deciding.
Like I said, I'm sure they will be fine and should certainly be quieter than the P-Zeros.
GL and definitely post a review when you get them on.
