The only thing I can come up with is the inherent difference between the characteristics of gasoline vs diesel. Gasoline can be a lot harder on certain materials than diesel?

I received the recall notice today on my 3.0. Looks like both fuel rails to be replaced, three hour job.

that's your fuel pump located at the gas tank.
my letter indicated fuel rails which is a much different issue.

sound like your fuel pump not the fuel rails.
definitely the recalls are all different matters.
some are fuel dampers, fuel lines, fuel pressure regulators and fuel rails.

I was told over the phone should allow 3-5 hours.
Although I always assume they'll have my car overnight at a minimum lol
