I am going to be installing mine next weekend. I just received my unit in the mail (the WAKAA Brand). I have to wait as I am having my engine overhauled, getting the oil screen bypass kit, water pump replacement all that done at the moment. Just biting the bullet all at once. Anyways. I would be happy to share my experience if I get to it beforehand. I have purchased a removal kit and a body trim removal kit as well. Basically just bought it and am doing some major work on it. Getting rid of the old owner. I chose the Wakaa version because it supports the OEM microphone.

My understanding is that the most difficult part is fitting the unit back in to the car along with the original head unit. You will have to remove trim and will need to read about what specific tools you need for your car. It’s apparently 20 minutes figuring out wiring and 70 minutes of shoving it back in.

Just get this and be done with it. The mintue you connect it, the AUX option will become available.

also figured out the autolink option. need to connect the phone to the usb cable sticking out and DL the autolink app, and voila!
