I'm going to be doing this in the Spring for sure (couple more months). Let the bad weather get out of the way.
I did wrap the roof and add a black rear spoiler lip though.

Looks good, really changes the look of the car. You happy with the job you did? How difficult was it?

I had all of my chrome wrapped in late December. The grill should been plasti-dipped. Not that the wrap isn't holding up (it is) but the wrap doesn't hold up to rock chips well and with chrome behind it, they become very evident. I use touchup paint as a short-term cure until I get the plasti-dip. Just haven't had the time.
The mirrors, on the other hand, are starting to peel - both at the edge and at the joint. I have a feeling that this is a difficult wrap given the contour. I'm not sure if my guy disassembled the housing or not but that's probably the best way to do it. I'm undecided on what I'll do on the mirrors. Either consider a plasti-dip (anyone?), suck it up and do a wrap once-per year (not a good option), buy black housings (expensive) or go naked. I'll likely remove the mirror wrap for the winter after I put on my silver winter wheels and see how I feel come spring.

I had a buddy help me, but pretty easy and straight forward. Take your time!
Could you hydro-dip the mirrors black?

I only have the following items that are chrome
- Grille - would take off and spray with plastidip
- Wee surrounds around ACC radar - think I could pop these off and spray with plastidip
- Handles - not sure if I could take these off and wrap them as it might be a nightmare if I have to take the door cards off to get at taking the handles off, might be better wrapping them in situ
- Trim around windows - not sure if some of this will pop off and can be wrapped off the car of if I will have to do it in situ
- Line along the back of the car - there is a line along the trunk that I would need to wrap.
- Audi rings and quattro badge on the back - not sure if I would put these to black. Thoughts...?
