D4 Massage feature
I was looking at an Audi W12 and noticed that even though it's outfitted with everything such as premium package, the front passenger seat did not have the massage feature but the driver seat does. Is this common for the D4's? I asked because I looked at another Audi and both the front driver and passenger had the massage button.

Maybe a mix of stock photos, or a mixing of rear seat photos? Also, would need to post year in question. D3 W12's had it on both front sides too.
Backing up, if looking at used ones and you have detailed questions, get familiar with Product Information Books (PIB's) for the D4. Annual in general. Has the very detailed specs, options, color choices, what is new year over year, etc. Search for older ones here, or last several years also on Audi USA site in press section if you dig. Even more so, having owned the D3 W12 for almost 10 years. Unlike on D3 board, there is currently approx. one D4 W12 owner who has raised his hand in recent times IIRC.

So besides PIB's, take the VIN and type it into Audi USA web site where you can download owner's manuals. See what answer is there, Could be in that year it was only screen controlled.
FWIW I never even use the button to activate it. I just flick the ear on the outer round adjust and then it pops up on MMI screen. I activate/pick the massage from there. Thus, button isn't actually necessary to make it function.

Seems weird to me too, here's an example of one without the passenger button/feature.

On my 2013 you can control the passanger's massage and seat settings from the drivers side through the MMI. You can't be moving but you go into the car settings and then seats. I even have an option to mirror the passenger seat to the drivers seat.

I think they all have that. It would be nice if there was a way in VCDS to disable not being able to do it while moving.
