Agreed. Its the Black and keeping it clean that's my major concern. Even dust settling on a black car is so noticeable.

Black isn't a color, it's a full time job

Seven of my last 9 cars were/are black (or some version of black). I'm so obsessed with keeping my cars clean that it doesn't matter the color: black, silver white, etc. So having a black car doesn't really add any extra work for me, since I'd be doing the work anyway. I find using a good detail spray keeps the car's finish slick and easy to keep clean with a California Car Duster most of the time. Besides, I need the stretching and exercise, and it's far more satisfying than going to the gym 😉

True. I find myself out of breath when I wash my car, which isn't often enough, especially here where it's nasty lately and even after washing, the streets are still so wet the car looks filthy within an hour of driving. I also have the black alcantra, looks so much better. My A6 had the grey, didn't even think about getting black since I didn't even know about it and the grey actually got dirty!

Dark blue isn't much better. The salt is awful in the winter!

DazC - first ideas are the best ones. Make your decision and never look back. Stick to black ..... but you should see Daytona Grey with Titanium 21" wheels ))))

Hi buddy. Yeah I know.

I do like the Daytona Grey and spent an age in the dealers trying to decide.

In the end just went for the Black as you can't really go wrong with Black other than the up keep of it.

Was also pondering the Moonlight Blue as that looked good.

Once the ceramic coating is on hopefully it'll be much easier to maintain.

How you getting on with yours? Still loving it?

sorry mate , just tried to wind you up. Black on black is always a good choice.

Yep , mine is getting better and better. Did you select any options or keeping it stock?

The only cost option I added was tinted windows. Was tempted to add adaptive cruise control but I find it shocking this isn't standard on a car of this value.

Only the S8 Plus seems to get this standard.

Chose Black alcantara trim too but otherwise standard spec is very healthy.
