why not ? I love my magnetic one in my cd player...i don't get to close it but it does not get in the way of anything i use with it down so works awesome for me... so convenient to be able to just pop it in.

why? it doesnt really cover up anything...i can see and push every button but yeah its not as clean.

I use the koomus as well, works perfectly. And yes, I hate that the door doesn't close and it covers the nice clock but doesn't interfere at all with the HVAC controls.

I like the idea but admittedly, I do fiddle with the phone while driving and/or at least at stop lights. Yes, I know it's unsafe. Bad on my part.
