Default Sport Differential - MMI instructions

in a search for a used D8 4.0 (L or NWB) car with sports diff, obviously its hard to confirm if a car does or does NOT have it based on pictures from a dealer

Can somebody send me a couple of snaps which go through the progressions in MMI which will allow a non Audi used car dealer to go into the MMI driver dynamic settings and to individual so it would show if the car has the sports differential or not in the settings

Or if you guys know of another way for me to easily prompt a dealer to ascertain its existence, that would be appreciated.

Honestly, the easiest way is to just get the VIN and then call up AoA. They can tell you exactly what options the car was configured with. They can even send you a copy of the Monroney sticker.

maybe, but hard to do that across a wide listing of cars...

im not sure AOA woudl entertain me calling about 10-12 different vehicles at once.

that being said, looking at the user manual, i can point a sales person to setting the individual settings via Audi drive select

and if the car is equipped with the sport plus package, it would list both dynamic steering as an option as well as the sport differential correct?

Well, if I recall, you go to the car menu, where you can select from auto, dynamic, comfort, and individual. One of the four corner keys is set individual. Select that one, and you're looking for a setting for the aggressiveness of the sport diff. If you can't find one, the car doesn't have it. Sorry for the lack of detail, it's been a while since I've seen one.

Correct. In Car Settings/Individual there will be a menu listing for the rear Differential where it can be set for Dynamic/Auto/Comfort. No such listing=no rear Sport Differential.
