SSP for NA D4?
Hello Experts,
I’m just wondering if anyone knows where I can find free (or even paid) Audi SSP (Self Study Program) documents for North America D4 A8. I’ve found some on UK forums. But some of the info do not apply to US models due to different markets.
Thanks

How about starting with the 4.0 T engine guide: https://www.audiworld.com/forums/att...self-study.pdf

The materials are copyrighted and can be a bit hard to find. I think if you do an ErWin subscription (audi's documentation, manuals, etc.) you can get to all of them. Pricy, so some just join for a brief subscrption and download what they want.
The engine related ones are scattered across different SSP's not specifically tied to the body, so it also depends on which engine you have/are interested in. The original 4.2 FSI SSP goes back into the D3/C6 era. The 4.0T was already linked. They did one on the transmission connected to the D4 intro. If you are familiar with the D3 ones, there are not as many or really a "full set." Some items like the sport rear diff are in specialized training documents (more like PowerPoint's) not connected to the D4 intro.
Here is a link that hopefully works to the overall D4 USA intro SSP: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...kGvratzICHQml_
Any time I find these on the web, I save them as a pdf for future reference.

Thanks for responses. Not a lot of US versions are available on the internet. Guess I'll just study UK versions for reference for now.

FWIW, not really true from my experience. Perhaps you are locked on one particular site that has a mix of both Euro and U.S. ones that I have seen? There are a few sites that may have groups of them, but many are just stand alone documents randomly posted or archived somewhere.
Basically, if an SSP exists and you have the number, it can probably be found with Google. All the newer U.S. oriented ones seem to use six digit number (the Euro ones use three it seems). That plus "Self-Study Program" and type : pdf usually yields the document--the number really cuts down on spurious results. Some SSP's have cross references to others (ny the six digit #) and you can sometimes spider out from there.

What motor do you actually have BTW? The TDI, 3.0T and 4.2 are all in various other SSPs not connected to the D4. The 4.2 FSI one goes pretty far back into C6/D3 intro era.
