Europrice Matrix Headlight activation

If you selecting VAS rental there is a $300 authorization that is held until the interface is returned which has a 20 day window for return.
If you select a VAS purchase there is a $300 charge with the order and you just keep the VAS interface for future use and any other projects it could be used for.
Carpet lighting is for digital matrix only and it lights up a strip in front of the car while on the highway. It also has marks that are the width of your car so you know your position in the lane compared to the dotted lines:
Cheers!

And now 2024 models can have this activation performed as well!

Apologize if this was already answered, but what exactly is changed by coding for laser light? As American standard they come on at 70kph when no cars are present and then turn off when they detect traffic in opposite lane or in front. Isn’t that the extent of their function?

With full matrix and laser activation they work together along with the added laser blue accent lighting which is part of full laser functionality. The biggest change will be how the matrix functionality shapes around oncoming vehicles while keeping all other areas high beam illuminated vs. the standard full high beam on/off with HBA style systems.

The upgrade is complete. It took my tech about 45 minutes to do both my A8 and Allroad and was described as being VERY easy as the Eurprice tech guy does the work remotely once remoted into your laptop. I’ll be driving home after dark tonight so should have a good chance to see the difference. My commute is about 14 miles one way on dark country roads. Report tomorrow.

I had the chance to give the unlocked lights a try last night and again this morning. They are great. I drove both it in the very dark country areas and in some more populated retail corridors. The lights work as advertised. They are constantly adjusting once another vehicle is sensed, whether coming towards you or traveling with you. Having full bright lights while you have other cars around you is a real joy. In 1 hour of use, around plenty of traffic, not once did anyone flash lights at me requesting me to dim. For my use, this unlocked feature was well worth the price…..even if Audi provides the unlock at no charge in the future. Well done Europrice…..this is as advertised and highly recommended in my book. Going to try the unlocked Allroad tonight.
