Hey guys,
I bought this 100 a couple of months ago, just needed a temp car. The car beeps like crazy when I have it started. Turn the radio on, and its a solid beep.

I think it's probably an ignition thing, but I can't fix much of anything until after the weekend. Any way of turning this off, or disabling the chime?
I'm at my wits end!

What do you mean "beeps like crazy when I have it started". Does it beep before you engage the starter, with the key in the ignition position? Does it beep only when hyou have the starter engaged?. In what way s does the beep change when you turn the radio on?

Without more specific info, all I can say is that I am suspecting the relay that operates the warning beeper when you leave the key in the ignition switch. This should go out once you turn on the car, or you remove the key, but mine had gotten stuck. I removed it. It is a relay about 1" by 1" by 2 1/4" behind the bezel in the instrument cluster.

Is it your light/warning system? If a bulb is burned out, mine beeps.

Just looking in to why my 93 S4 keeps beeping when on, even with the door shut (constant "key in/door open" buzzer noise turns in to beeping). All the lights seem to work, but will check them.
